VFX Supervisor
Chris Keller
He/His

Chris is a VFX Supervisor who joined beloFX in February 2022. He recently helped Isaac Asimov’s vision of the future come to life for Apple’s flagship sci-fi series FOUNDATION, for which he won a VES award. Previously, he supervised global teams in LA, Vancouver, Montreal, London and Mumbai on large productions such as TRIPLE FRONTIER, HOBBS & SHAW, PACIFIC RIM UPRISING, ANT-MAN AND THE WASP, and HOLMES AND WATSON.
Chris has extensive on-set experience and has directed numerous splinter units and element shoots. He earned his first 2nd unit directing credit in 2020.
After initially working on the technical side of computer graphics, Chris decided to follow a more creative path and got his start in visual effects with Double Negative in 2010. In the following years, he worked as an artist on over a dozen feature films such as AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, MAN OF STEEL and THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE, quickly rising to his first supervisor role only five years later.
Chris is also a prolific filmmaker, having written and directed almost ten award-winning short films since 2012. His filmmaking experience gives him a broad perspective of the entire process and the ability to effortlessly communicate with every department. He believes in the power of VFX as a key storytelling tool rather than a technical exercise, and likes to engage as a creative partner throughout the filmmaking process.
